THE HOME INFORMATION PACK PROVIDER - Terms & Conditions
Hipview is a means of ordering, viewing, storing, downloading and printing information. It does not provide, acquire or obtain information in its own right but displays information provided by third parties.Hipview does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of any information displayed or requested through Hipview.
Hipview reserves the right to remove or restrict access to, data, reports or searches on the Hipview site in the event of abuse of the system such as none payment within the agreed terms. these will be by prior agreement between parties.
By listing your property on Hipview you agree to let your property details and Home Information Pack contents be available for viewing by anyone, public or professional, through the 'hip search' facility in Hipview.
If you are listing a property on Hipview on behalf of someone else, you must have that person's permission to display it. If the home owner or vendor has not given permission for their details to be displayed on Hipview, you must 'PIN protect' the order.
Complaints Procedure
In the event of a complaint regarding information displayed, delays in information being displayed or any other complaint please telephone 08700 500 820 and ask for the complaints department. If the complaint cannot be addressed to the satisfaction of the complainant then the complaint will be passed to the appropriate governing body of the provider of the report or information to enter their complaints procedure. In the event of satisfaction still not being reached then the complainant is at liberty to initiate legal action which will be governed by UK Law.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Placing an order through Hipview initiates the purchasing of documents instantly from third parties who will not give a refund. If you wish to cancel an order, for a genuine reason, we will attempt to cancel any components which have not yet been returned. We cannot guarantee however that this will be possible. Any refund Pali receive will be passed onto our client. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Pali as soon as they decide they wish to cancel an order.
Delivery Policy
Orders placed through Hipview will be uploaded to the website as the various components are completed. This can vary from almost instantaneous to a matter of hours or days. Once the order is finalised the client will be notified by email, assuming they have supplied Pali with a valid email address. Any hard copies requested will be sent out as soon as possible by either Royal Mail or Document Exchange.
Pricing Example
A full Home Information Pack, consisting of the legally required documents only, ordered through Hipview, for a freehold property registered at Her Majesties Land Registry located within Liverpool City Council will cost £270.00 for an electronic Hip stored on Hipview. In all cases the price will be displayed prior to the order being placed.
