As from 6th April 2009 a Home Information Pack including the following documents must have been produced before a property can be marketed:

Home Information Pack Index

Energy Performance Certificate

Sale Statement

Evidence of Title (For Registered Estates)

Official Search of the Index Map (For Unregistered Estates)

Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ).

Pali have systems in place which mean that this will not cause our clients any problems. We already provide the components of the Hip in most cases within a few days however, with the exception of the EPC and PIQ we are confident in the majority of cases we can supply the above information within hours of the order being placed.

As for the Property Information Questionnaire, we have new systems which make it as simple as possible for the vendor to fill this in. As long as the vendor has web access they will be able to fill the PIQ in as soon as the order is placed.

This just leaves the EPC. If you order the Hip including EPC from Pali we can generally have the EPC completed the same day or next day, vendor permitting. If you supply your own EPC then it is up to you.

As the Home Information Packs are available to be viewed online, this will mean you do not have to provide two copies.
