Land Registry Voluntary Registration

More than 30 per cent of land in England and Wales is unregistered at Land Registry. Voluntary registration offers proof of land ownership and protection against encroachment.

·        It offers you or your clients greater security and piece of mind by helping to keep their estate in order.

·        It provides proof of ownership – important for anyone who owns land.

·        It reduces the risk of encroachment onto land or loss of deeds.

·        There’s a 25% discount on fees for the first time registration.

As hip providers we know how much more work, time and expense is involved in preparing a Home Information Pack and selling an un-registered property. If you are thinking of selling your property and it is un-registered, we feel Voluntary registration before hand should be considered.
